Do I need to pay or set up an API key to use Ouro? +

No. Ouro ships with Apple Intelligence built in — it runs entirely on your iPhone, free forever. Subscriptions unlock additional cloud AI and features, but the app works fully for the free tier without any setup.

Which glasses does Ouro work with? +

Meta Ray-Ban smart glasses via the official Device Access Toolkit. You can also start a session using just your iPhone's camera — no glasses required.

Where do my photos and conversations go? +

Everything stays on your device by default. Visual memory and chat history are stored locally. Cloud AI features send the specific message + frame to the provider (Gemini, Claude, etc.) — Ouro itself never stores or relays this.

How do I cancel my subscription? +

Open the Settings app on your iPhone → tap your name → Subscriptions → Ouro → Cancel Subscription. Access continues until the end of your current billing period.

Can I restore purchases on a new device? +

Yes. Open Ouro → Settings tab → Subscription → Restore Purchases. Sign in with the same Apple ID used for the original purchase.

What's the 'Watch for me' mode? +

It's an autonomous agent that keeps watching your camera feed for specific things while you go about your day — like 'alert me when my coffee arrives' or 'photograph every tree on this trail'. Your glasses stay on you, the AI does the monitoring.

Does Ouro work offline? +

The free tier (Apple Intelligence) works fully offline once the app is installed. Cloud AI features need internet.
